FSP (Fossil Shell Plus)

FSP is fossil shell flour that has been used for many years. It contains many trace elements that occur naturally in the earth, and are necessary to the good health of animals.

The minerals in FSP:

  • Stimulate the production of enzymes in each cell.
  • Aid in curtailing dirt licking and fence or wood chewing.
  • Stimulate basic metabolism.
  • Increase stamina by building up the blood.
  • Helps to control fly larvae.
  • Assists digestion and aids in absorption of protein.

We have added a Vitamin B supplement to boost immunity and convert blood sugar into biological energy. B Vitamins also enable the equine to handle stressful situations better. FSP also contains anti-oxidant properties and promotes hair and hoof growth.

The minerals of FSP are microscopic crystals with sharp edges. They mix with the undigested feed and eventually the fecal matter in the digestive system. These crystals come in contact with parasites and eggs found in the gut. These crystals (while not harming the tissues of the digestive system) lacerate the soft skin of the worms and eggs. The worms and eggs die. It is a slower process than using the poisons contained in most commercial wormers; but is much less stressful on the animal and has no known side effects.
